In 2004 Catherine Rohr felt a tug on her heart to launch an organization to constructively redirect inmates’ talents by equipping them with values-based entrepreneurial training—enabling them to productively re-enter society. This scalable concept was developed in May 2004 by a mission-driven team with backgrounds in venture capital and law.
