A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Well, the first thing you should know is I’m far from perfect! Like most folks, I’ve had my share of adventures and challenges. I grew up in a family of outlaws, associated with a Midwest organized crime family back in the 70s and 80s.
As a U.S. Marine and former Bounty Hunter, I’ve seen some pretty evil people in the world, and had my share of run-ins with the law myself. However, by the time I was in my late 20s, I had a pretty good idea of the direction I wanted my life to go, and make a shift, that has guided me to Living An Epic Adventure over the last 30 years.
I married my high school sweetheart, Paige Dooly and she has given me four boys and four girls which produced some fantastic grandkids. And guess what… She did all this while becoming a four-time Best Selling Author, with around 30 books now published with Harlequin, Barber, and Amazon!
Ah… I should tell you one more major challenge I faced in 2012-13. One of my early clients was found by the Securities & an Exchange Commission to be one of the world’s largest Ponzi Schemes. Regrettably, I was sanctioned by the SEC for NOT disclosing on a nationally syndicated radio show the full extent of my advisory and PR services with the founders. Talk about a life lesson, I will never forget! I have taken that life lesson and turned it into one of the greatest opportunities in the world. However… I could never have done that, had Paige not stuck by my side.
So now that’s a little about my backstory, let me share a little on the professional side.
I’ve been named One of the most influential commentators in the Main Street entrepreneur community by critics and proponents alike. I Co-founded with my lovely wife, Deep South Companies, a global consultancy with a sole focus on helping guide folks just like you to achieve a purposeful direction in their lives, by removing the crap holding you back!
I almost forgot… A few folks say I have emerged as a leading authority in the area of developing purpose-inspired communication. Well, mostly my clients do tell me that to make me feel good! 🙂
I work with some really cool startup entrepreneurs, as well as multi-national corporations, and have the great honor to sit on the Boards of two up-and-coming public companies.

When I’m not working with clients, I love studying Jesus, driving my old Ford truck in the woods, and podcasting on topics that may help others find answers. I think I got this bug from being the News Director of the Home Business Radio Network back in the day.
